POST OFFICE

Post Office - in this building you can send and receive telegrams and parcels.
The external view of this building is shown on Figure 1.
This portion of the manual describes functions and interface of the post office.

Inside of the building you will see the following four buttons:

  • Telegram - pressing this button will allow you to send a system (instant) message to any person.
  • Parcel - pressing this button will allow you to send a parcel to another person in the same or a different city than you are.
  • Receive - pressing this button will allow you to pick up a parcel someone sent to you.
  • Exit the building - pressing this button will take you outside.

    • To send a telegram press the "Telegram" button, enter the name of the character you would like to send it to in the top box and the text of the message in the bottom box. Once you are done typing the message press "Send".
    The cost to send a telegram is 1 coin and you are limited to 450 symbols per telegram.

    The telegram is received by the addressee as a system message and is delivered instantly.
    If the addressee is offline the message will be delivered once the person logs in.

    To send a package press the "Parcel" button, drag the object(s) into the window on the left and check the "Send" button on the bottom.
    The cost of sending a package depends on the weight the object(s) and is set by the city officials.
    Now enter the addressee's name and choose the type of delivery (standard/express) and press "Send".
    Express service - this type of service will deliver the package instantly but the cost will double.
    The addressee can pick up the package by entering any Post Office of any city and pressing the "Receive" button.
