TYP'O'SHOOTER


Typ'o'Shooter - meant for people that spend a lot of time traveling or in the hospital. An average round takes 2-3 minutes, about the time it takes to travel between locations!

Spiders that run at you can be killed by typing their names (the names were taken from TimeZero, so if you see your name there, don't take it seriously).

Like in any other game, the farther you get, the harder it becomes. Here, for example, the speed and number of spiders increase depending on the amount of earned points (if you have less than 100 points, their speed is 20 pixels/sec and appearance interval is 2.5):

Pixels/sec: speed = ((points-100)/600+1)*start_speed*20
Seconds: appearance interval = points/2)points/100+(points/100-1)2)/20;

Commands when paused:
sound - sound on/off
blood - blood on/off
ground [1-4] - change background (1-4)
ground - change background to random

There are different kinds of bonuses in the game:
- Phantom spider. Its speed is 1.5 times faster than average. It's death leads to slowing of all other spiders. Slowing time depends on the amount of earned points (10-50 seconds).
- Water spider. Its speed is also 1.5 times faster than average, but, unlike the phantom, after dying it weakens it's brethren's armor, and your bullets can fly right through them. Weakening time depends on earned points (5-25 seconds).
- Earth spider. Its speed is only 1.25 times faster than average. You receive 3-5 times more points when it is killed.
The amount of points you earn depend on the length of the spiders name. the longer the name the more points.

The game has its own High Score table, play and become the champion.
