LOCATOR

The "Locator" module is designed for searching for player characters in the world of TimeZero. With its help you can, to a certain degree, determine the direction in which the selected character is located at the moment. To use the module you must have it in your inventory, along with some energy modules - each use will take up energy, determined by it's energy consumption. Open your PDA; click the "Menu" button. In the "Module" section select "Locator". When the module is started you will see an image of a radar, a text field for entering the desired character's name, and the start search button. Enter the character name, click the start button, and, if you have entered a correct name, you will receive an answer from the module. The direction to the character is shown as a sector on the radar display and as an angle (zero degrees as north). The highlighted sector on the screen points to the range of directions, that the indicated character can be located. You can only search for a character that is currently online. The device is fairly complicated - its precision highly depends on the distance and your characters electronics skill. The better your skill - the more accurately you determine the specified location. Usage of the locator increases your electronics skill.
