VZZIK

Description:
Vzziks - gigantic bees, overgrown dragonflies, or insectoids - any of these names will fit. They have four wings, robust chitin exoskeleton and charcoal compound eyes. You can easy tell when one is approaching by the loud buzzing noise its wings make. Vzziks never attack alone, always in a group, always against a single target, especially stragglers. Their victims stand little chance - vzzik's bite is poisonous and very painful. Even if the attacked survives there is still a chance to get infected by the insectoid. Occasionally their bites will paralyze the victim and vzziks will lay their eggs inside of the unlucky prey. When larvae hatches, the victim experiences excruciating pain. Infection can be cured, but treatment will take a long time and is not always successful. A ranged attack with firearms or energy weapons is the best way to fight vzziks.

Known kinds:


	Ordinary vzzik - the most common type. Habitat - deserts.
	Charcoal Vzzik - charcoal colored with green wings - these are much larger than ordinary vzziks thus making them very dangerous in combat. Much stronger and more resilient compared to ordinary kind. Rare and not very aggressive.
	Pearly Vzzik - the most rare and dangerous type. Their bites cause prolonged and irritating hallucinations. Even modern armor is not able to neutralize this hallucinogen. Extremely dangerous due to rapid movement.
	Royal Vzzik ê - these individuals have the hardest exoskeleton. Due to very fast and unusual metabolism they are also able to consume and digest plastic and metal. Unusual items are sometimes found in the carcasses of Royal vzziks.
