SCORP

    Description:
    Scorpions were living in deserts of the planets prior to humans and will probably live on even after humans disappear. Scorps have a large chitin exoskeleton, six legs, two large claws and a long, flexible and poisonous tail. This makes scorpions extremely tough to kill opponents. Their venom is deadly.

    Known kinds:
    Brown Scorp – the most common kind. Distinguished by sturdy exoskeleton, strong venom and fast movement rate. Prefers to hunt in small swarms. Usually uses venomous fumes to poison its victim when attacking from distance.
    Dark Scorp – a true scourge of the wastelands. Its appearance can cause real terror even in most seasoned stalkers. Stench that comes from the Dark Scorpion can cause hallucinations even from a distance. It posses extremely tough exoskeleton and uses venom which will cause severe poisoning and panic in close combat. Dark scorpion is also able to secrete special fumes that will envelope it and make aiming at it extremely difficult.
    Dune Scorp – utilizes a very primitive yet effective tactic to hunt its prey. It burrows in sand and then suddenly attacks. As soon as the prey is within its reach the dune scorpion scrambles towards it and attacks with its venomous tail. Dune scorpion's poison is one of the strongest organic poisons known on the planet. It causes paralysis that typically leads to death of the victim.
    Bloody Scorp – рrare, dying out kind. It's scarcity and sluggishness in everyday life can also be noted in their hunting style. The swarm slowly surrounds the prey and attacks it with its venomous tails. Extremely well developed glands allow blood scorpions to attack from considerably distant range. Due to the nature of the venom it may not only poison but also zombificate the prey, which basically means death for the unlucky victim.
