MECHANOID

Description:
Human cities are under threat of extinction once again. This time the enemy is even more deadly and ruthless and is planning to eradicate all of humanity. Invasion of robots, awoken to life by irresponsible actions of exploring engineers, will be deadly for anyone standing in their way. It is time for humans to stand together to repel this attack. Experiments show that destroyed robots sometimes contains very valuable microchips that can be used in labs for research.
Robot's goals and mission are not yet understood, but it is know that they are clearing up all man-made objects, be it buildings or sandbags, as if they were preparing for battle.

Known kinds:


	Standard R2-D2 – base model of mechanoid; however, even this base model possesses weaponry superior to all other kinds. They will destroy any man-made obstacle standing in their way (sandbags or walls) but will leave stones, trees and other plants untouched.
	Command R2-D10X – it seems that this type performs the commanding officer role. Typically can be distinguished from others by characteristic green body paint. Well-equipped with ranged weapons and better armor. Much faster than all other models.
	Missile R2-M4 – a real war machine with improved weaponry. Instead of standard energy weapons it has missile launchers capable of hitting extremely remote targets. Can be distinguished by red armor and slower movement rate than that of standard model.
	Service R2-R3 – this model is not capable of engaging into combat since its standard set of energy weapons has been replaced by repair module. Its only function is to repair and restore other robots. Can be distinguished by blue armor, which is made out of a very durable material. Movement rate is also improved compared to standard model.
