ARACHNID

Description:
Newly discovered creation of radioactive wastelands - arachnids were recently found near cities. Giant spiders were seen both under and above ground. Typically characters encounter young spiders as they hatch from their eggs right on the combat field. However, even a young individual can be a very dangerous enemy. As soon as it gets close enough, the spider will spit paralyzing substance at its prey and once the victim is immobilized the spider will kill it with its venomous claws.

Known kinds:


	Dark arachnids - black colored spiders that always attack in groups. Typically attacks only head or arms of the prey. Once several spiders surround the prey they will finish it off using their venomous claws. Their slow rate of movement is compensated for by sturdy exoskeleton. Always remember that an encounter with a black spider can cost you one of your limbs.
	Red spider - rare and deadliest kind. Everyone should remember that red spiders always attack the head of its prey first, aiming for the eyes. Any successful hit will result in temporary blindness, which red spider will use to its advantage. High accuracy and long-range of attack will pose a great difficulty for anyone who encounters a red spider it battle. Luckily, red spider's poison is not very strong and can be neutralized with an antidote.
	White spider - a relatively common kind. When hatching, its egg can explode, blinding anyone nearby for an extended period of time. The spider attacks by spitting poison from distance. In close combat its hits are capable of inducing prolonged hallucinations, sometimes even inducing loss of coordination. When killed, bodies of white spider also tend to explode just like their eggs. It is recommended to destroy this type of spiders from far-off with firearms. The white spider easily moves on any terrain, has a relatively vulnerable exoskeleton but extreme accuracy of ranged attack.
