WORM

Description:
Worms are terrifying gigantic creatures capable of killing and swallowing an adult human in just a few seconds. They pose a great danger and since they move underground are practically immune to any damage except for grenades. A worm will react to any kind of noise (gunshots, explosions and even foot steps) and will attack the source of it. Once under its victim the worm simply swallows it and starts digesting it alive. The only way to save the victim at this point is to shoot the worm while it is still above the ground digesting its prey with any heavy weaponry like KORD or Devastator. The faster the worm is destroyed the more chances for survival its victim has. Worms typically inhabit wastelands and deserts and avoid polluted lands characteristic of human settlements. Occasionally, some worms venture outside their usual habitat and a few were noticed even in grasslands. Once in a while carcasses of killed worms will yield objects that the worm swallowed throughout its life.
