ARMOR

Waist

A cute tank top with the symbol of the infamous magazine. This type of clothing was quite popular at the end of the 20th - beginning of the 21st century. The only positive aspect of this clothing is that it does not hinder movement due to its insignificant weight. Only females can wear this piece.
Jeans vest

A simple jeans jacket and a pretty worn out one too, which is not surprising considering the fact that they have not been produced for quite some time now. The main reason why they are no longer made is that this type of clothing is significantly inferior to modern garments. Also, pre-war storages and warehouses still have quite a large number of jeans clothing left intact.
Leather shirt

The good old leather jacket, just like the ones that used to be so popular back in the day. Unfortunately, nowadays, leather jackets can only be found in derelict buildings and ruined arsenals and their condition is very poor.
Disciple

This armor has been around since the times of the Ancient Rome. It is simply regular leather clothing that is reinforced with metal plates. It does not provide much protection to the wearer but its low weight allows even the weakest people to wear it comfortably.
Stalker

Standard issue army combat uniform with desert camouflage pattern. It turned out to be so effective and easy to use that it has been in active production for several centuries. Additional reinforcement plates can be sawn into the internal lining of the jacket, pants and helmet. Standard steel reinforced outsoles can be further swapped for higher-grade outsoles providing more protection to the wearer. All of this makes the stalker combat uniform a very popular body armor set among mid-level characters.
HiTech

Hi-Tech is a typical example of the post-war armor. It was developed some time after the WWIII using 20-21 century technology coupled of the latest modern research. This resulted in armor that provides protection without sacrificing agility of the wearer. Metal alloy used in Hi-Tech is sufficiently resilient to be able to stop a bullet yet is elastic and does not hinder wearer's movement. Hi-Tech can also be reinforced with kevlar plates for greater protection.
Army

This is a standard army uniform of 1938 design. It is not even really armor per se, as much as simply heavy-duty clothing. Typically made from thick quilted cloth, which is very durable but coarse. The level of protection if affords to the wearer is only better than that of regular civilian clothing and among other armor types it is superior only to the disciple armor.
Marauder

This armor type justifies its name. Only the bare necessities, no extra bells and whistles like with the later generation full body armors. Two pressed plates cover chest and back. Slick sweatpants that will not get caught up in the branches and light snickers that will not tire wearer's feet and are also reinforced with steel threads. Composite armguards protecting the arms from stray bullets complete the picture. Marauder armor is the armor of choice for fast attack and retreat tactics.
Power

Power armor is sometimes referred to as the transitional armor because it was created using post-war technology of the HiTech armor with some of the newly developing technologies that were later used in Energy armor design. Highly resistant metal alloy absorbs the shock damage and energy wave generator is capable of significantly slowing down the projectiles and dissipating the energy rays thus reducing the damage taken. Servomotors assist the motion of the wearer.
Flex

TimeZero industry originally was aimed mainly at males and was soon faced with a problem - it was quite uncomfortable for females, due to their anatomy, to wear standard male-oriented armor. The increasing number of female warriors created a need for a female equivalent to the Hi-Tech armor. This armor is lighter that the original Hi-Tech due to increased use of composite materials but it also affords less protection to its wearer.
Raider

This armor dates back to the feudal times. More than anything, it looks like the plate armor of the Teutonic Knights. The torso armor is made of a whole steel plate bent into the torso shape with an "stop rib" over the left sholder. The globular design provides an effective glancing surface that deflects both hand and missile weapons. The pants are made from an iron alloy and are reinforced with steel fibers. Steel armguards, special helm with protective lenses and heavy-duty boots reinforced with steel fibers complete this armor set.
Energy

A new era in weapons and armor began once the scientists were able to create the "controlled energy wave" generators. The Energy armor became possible mainly due to this invention. The uniqueness of the armor set is in the fact that it consists of 6 small energy generators instead of large cumbersome steel plates. The generators create an energy field that is capable of both stopping the projectiles and dissipating energy rays.
LiteEnergy

LightEnergy is another example of an adaptation of male armor to a growing number of females. The difference of this armor set is that it utilizes special energy generators that create energy shields that envelope the wearer's body rendering it invisible. Unfortunately, the overall protective quality of the armor set was reduced by these additions.
Desert

The desire to be the best and to have superior weapons and armor always propelled the military research forward. The weaponry became more and more deadly and so new armor was needed to negate the potency of new weapons. Thus the Desert armor set was borne. This is a "full defense" type of armor, which is basically a self-contained armor plated suit. The suit is hermetically sealed and provides wearer with almost full protection against harmful airborne and other agents. Titanium-molybdenum alloy is nearly impenetrable for many weapon types.
StreetFighter

A typical studded jeans jacket with thick underlining and reinforcement steel plates. Provides relatively good protection against both melee and small caliber projectiles. This armor is sometimes referred to as a street version of Stalker armor set. Jeans, comfortable boots and a bandana complete the armor set. This is the best choice of armor for a street fighter.
Mystique

Once Psionika was discovered it created a whole new class of people who need a new type of armor because none of the existing armor types met the requirements of the Psioniks. This prompted creation of a brand new type of armor designed especially for Psioniks. Mystique is one of the most basic armor types in this class designed especially for women. It is made from a special composite material, which does not reduce wearer's sensory ability, which is extremely important for this profession.
Sense

Psioniks were able to quickly establish themselves as a serious force to be reckoned with, even mercenaries became fearful of them. However, on the battlefield even a Psionik is not safe from a stray bullet. This created a need for a well-balanced, Psionik type armor that can protect its wearer well. Sense armor set was borne as a result of research done on this matter. This armor does not only protect its wearer from the combat hostilities but also does not have as much negative effect on his mental abilities as other armor types.
MindForce

Mindforce armor set is basically a well thought-out improvement on the sense armor set. Reinforced exo-skeleton and new composite materials lend even greater protection to the wearer allowing Psionik to feel extremely well-protected and left to continue with his task uninterrupted. A Psionik in a mindforce armor set is quite capable of defeating a mercenary in a full desert armor set.
Assault

A sample of this armor set was found at one of the military weapons test sites and most likely was being tested there as assault squad armor set. After some modernization and design changes the assault armor was able to take its place in the brave new world as one of the relatively inexpensive and reliable armor sets for mid-level characters.
S.W.A.T

This armor was especially designed for Special Forces units of the 20th century. The helmet is equipped with a respirator and optical visor. The armor set itself is quite flexible, which allows for greater flexibility and agility. Kevlar body armor with its good protection gives a good chance for survival of the wearer even in a hardest combat situation. All of this makes the S.W.A.T. armor set an ideal set of armor for a fighter that can appreciate reliability, functionality and comfort.
Typhoon

This armor is the first example of a brand new generation of armor sets. The origins of its design are unknown since the first sets were found among the remains of the defeated Mechanoids. It is likely that this armor was designed by some secret lab after the WWIII and Mechanoids simply picked up the samples after destroying it in the attack. Typhoon is an ideal armor set for a sniper. It comes with built-in optical sensors, visor and an on-board computer that takes into consideration weather and distance to target and automatically adjusts the wearer's aim accordingly.
Storm

The origin of this armor set is similar to that of the Typhoon set. However, even though it looks very much like Typhoon armor, the Strom armor set is a completely different and distinct armor type due to its different technical parameters. Powerful servomotors and independent suspension of the back and joints allow the wearer to carry the heaviest weapons without any strain or discomfort. Storm is an ideal armor set for the elite assault squads.
