Arena - a place where beginners can combat each other to gain experience points and learn how to use various types of weapons. The external view of this building is shown on Figure 1. This portion of the manual describes functions and interface of the Arena. |

To battle another character go up to the floor corresponding to the character's level. Three kinds of battles are available at the Arena: Battling monsters is available only to first and second level characters. To start press the "Battle a monster" button in the upper right corner. Press "Yes" and the battle will begin. To fight in a duel you will need to find an opponent. You can either choose one yourself or have one randomly selected for you. To choose a random opponent press the "Find an opponent" button in the upper right corner. The opened window will have character information about one of the other characters currently in the room (the opponent is chosen randomly). If you do not like the first selection press the button again. To select an opponent yourself click on character's information (in the character list or chat) and press the "Challenge to a combat" icon. The icon is located in the lower right corner of character information screen. A window will open where you will be able to set the timeout period. Third and fourth level characters have access to live-fire combat training. In opponent selection screen they will have the "Combat Training" option. Next select form four available alternatives: Each character will receive the same set of weapons and armor at the beginning of the match. the match is over all of the given items will disappear. Group battles become available starting with second level. To start a group battle you will need to find a room marked "Available" room. Then press the "Place a request" button and select the type and conditions of battle. Four type of battle are available: To participate in the group battle find the room with a pending request and press the "Join" button. Select the side you want to be one and press "Banzai!". |

First and second level characters can instantaneously replenish their health by visiting the nurse. To do so go to room 115 on the first floor of the Arena. The nurse will ask you some questions and depending on your answers will either allow or deny healing. If you are unsuccessful just send the nurse any private message or reenter the room. Please note! Your chat must be one to be able to talk to the nurse. Nurses will only replenish your health and will not cure the injured slots. Apart from combats, several games are also available. To play LaserBall press the corresponding button on the left side, select an empty room and press "Place a request" button. In the pop up select rules of the match, the bet amount, level of opponents, timeout period and password if desired. Press "Start" when finished with selections. Teams will have five minutes to organize, after which the game will begin. The game is similar to football. You will be given a uniform and a laser rifle. Your objective is twofold. To push the ball through opponent's Goal by shooting at it with rifles and score a goal, and to prevent the opponents from scoring. Please note! After a goal the ball reappears in the center of the field. If you would like to play Deathman, press the "Deathman" button. You will be shown 25 best results of the same level characters. To start the battle press the "Begin battle" button in the upper right corner of the screen. You will appear in the middle of the battlefield with various types of weapons and armor located in several places. More and more monsters will appear with every turn. The objective of the game is to destroy as many monsters as you can before your character dies. Please note! Each character that scores within top 25 will receive the experience points collected in the match. Your skills will not increase from Deathman matches. All of the items collected during the match will disappear from the backpack once the match is over. |
